IT Coordinator

4 month contract position with opportunity for hire contingent upon performance
Job Description, Required Skills, Education, Experience:

To provide Information Technology (IT) coordination and support to the respective Plant team in the pursuit of exceeding internal and external customer expectations; to deliver and support best-in-class, value-added business systems and processes, and to maximize cost reduction/avoidance opportunities utilizing information technology.
Oversees, and performs administration and maintenance of all PC, LAN, and WAN workstations/servers, networks, and related infrastructure including hardware, operation system software, and business Windows Applications software
Reporting Relationships
Reports to local Plant Management (Plant Engineering Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, Plant Controller, or Plant Manager).
Dotted-line reporting relationship to the Product Group/Business Unit IT Manager (PG IT).
Roles & Responsibilities
Primary IT support resource for PC/Server, MES, scheduling and shop-floor systems. Analyzes system issues and provides solutions. Escalates systems issues to PG IT Manager or to Group/Corporate IT depending on predefined process rules
Responsible for the daily operations of computer systems including system administration, security, process adherence and documentation (escalation rules, contingency plans, asset tracking, license compliance, etc.) equipment installation and system backups. Installation and maintenance of equipment, application and OS upgrades, patches, new releases, and interfaces. Develop scripts and programs to deliver applications and to collect shop-floor data
Provides key Plant IT contact for internal and external Adient Customers
Communicates Plant IT business requirements and activities. Ensures Company IT activities are communicated in a timely fashion to the Plant Leaders.
Leverages IT economies of scale across the Plant; delivers IT best practices, and aggressively drives out cost
Serves as the key Plant IT representative on new program teams
Acts as Project Manager for IT initiatives at Plant facility
Responsible for ensuring adherence to strategic Adient/ASG IT initiatives, standard technologies, policies, security, and Business Operating System (BOS) processes throughout the Plant
Skills, Education, Experience:
2+ years IT or related experience
2+ years experience in supporting Local Area Networks (LAN s) and associated equipment
Outstanding PC/Server hardware and software experience including Microsoft Office 2007/Win10
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Customer support experience coupled with hardware, software, and network support
Cisco Switches - configuration for the IP addresses (must have this experience)
Maintaining Windows PC's - updating patches, anti-viruses, any updates from the customers?

5+ years IT or related experience in a Just-in-Time (JIT) automotive manufacturing environment
Shop-floor data collection, MES and barcoding systems experience a plus
Experience with Active Directory user administration
Education & Training
Bachelor s Degree or College Diploma in Business Management, Computer Science, or applicable field of study, OR 5+ years related experience.
Certification in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Applications (MOUS/MCP/MCSE)
Certification in CISCO network management.
Experience with virtual server environments. (VM ware of Hyper-V)
3:00pm-1:00am (usual schedule)
Monday - Friday, sometimes weekends
schedule based on customer's demand
7x24 on-call availability for critical plant operation system support
Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts
Willingness to work overtime and weekends
Pay Rate: $32. 00 per hour
Drug and background screenings required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
